Rose Ida Culotta McCoy was born on March 25, 1938 in Louisiana, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Culotta.
She was united in marriage to Grady Louis McCoy, who preceded his wife in death on August 20, 2000.
Mrs. McCoy had previously worked at Morrison's Cafeteria in Greenville, South Carolina as a server. She loved playing bingo.
She departed this life on October 1, 2015 at the Hardin Medical Center, at the age of 77 years, 6 months, and 6 days.
She is survived by her daughters: Patricia McCoy Holt and husband Nathan of Waynesboro, Tennessee, and Teresa Annette McCoy of Greer, South Carolina; her son, James Dale McCoy and wife Shirley of Savannah, Tennessee.
Three brothers: Charles, David, and Joseph Culotta, Jr.
Two sisters: Diane Sifuentes and Josephine Culotta Disintell.
Six grandchildren: Taunya Bingaman and husband Rodney, Andrew Yount, Ashley Reed and husband Joseph, Kevin McCoy, Jenna Taylor, and Hannah Jiles.
Four great-grandchildren: Derrick and Tory Bingaman, Joseph Reed, Jr., and Matthew Taylor Lyons.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Crystal Lynn McCoy.
No service will be held.
