Delberta Rose Chard Weaver departed this life on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at the age of 79 years, 1 month, 15 days. She was born in Peoria, Illinois, on July 21, 1936, the daughter of the late Delbert and Zada White Chard. On December 19, 1957, she was united in marriage to Jack Weaver, who survives.
Rose was a hostess at the Hilton and had also worked at Caterpillar and was a waitress at the Canteen for 9 years. She loved motorcycling, camping, and bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack Weaver of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; daughter, Nena Weaver of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; grandchildren, Shelia Franks and Bruce Weaver; great grandchildren, Rosanna Gamble, Tristan Gamble, Austin Franks, Michael Franks, Matthew Franks, Ivan Weaver, and Navi Weaver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roy Bruce Weaver; a daughter, Barbara Ann Weaver; sister, Barbara Phipps; brothers, Dan Chard, Ike Chard, Bud Chard, and Orville "Burt" Chard.
