Rosie Lee Watson, 76, of Byhalia, MS, formerly of Belzoni, MS, passed away Tuesday morning, May 24, 2011 at Ocean Springs Hospital in Ocean Springs, MS.
The widow of Clarence Wilson Watson, who died March 18, 2008 after 54 years of marriage, Mrs. Watson was a school cook. She was born February 25, 1935 to the late John Thomas Turner and Eva Fontella Bryant Turner. She lived 33 years in Belzoni, MS and 13 years in Byhalia, MS.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Wilson of Gautier, MS; two sons, Daniel Watson of Horn Lake, MS and William Watson of Collierville, TN; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Rose Watson.
