Mrs. Staggs passed away Friday evening at her home.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, Roxanne spent her entire life in the Hardeman-Madison county area. She was the daughter of Mary Anne Daniel Hatch of Mercer and Roger Ladell Hatch of Silerton, both of whom survive her. On February 2, 2012, she was united in marriage to Mark A. Staggs and they made their home near Mercer. She had worked as a caregiver for Sitters and More for 4 years and also was office manager for R & R Car Care.
Mrs. Staggs was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church where she served as Youth Director and Bible Class Teacher, personally leading several to Christ. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts and interior decorating. Born with a dynamic personality, Roxanne was a woman who lived life to the fullest extent.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughter, Payton Dellray Hammons of Mercer; her step-son, Jordan Staggs of Medon; her paternal grandmother, Sue Tull Hatch of Silerton; and a grandson, Grayson Staggs.
She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Norman E. and Bessie May Daniel; and paternal grandfather, Elvis E. Hatch.
