Roy Glenn Butler

Mr. Roy Glenn Butler departed this life on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 6 Months, 11 Days. He was born August 2, 1932 in Collinwood, TN the son of the late Jocephus and Fronie Matilda Daniels Butler.

He was united in marriage to Frances Louise Stooksberry on May 25, 1957.

Mr. Butler was retired from Genesco and attended Upper Green River Baptist Church. He served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Frances Louise Stooksberry Butler of Waynesboro, TN; sons, Randy G. Butler, wife Anita of Waynesboro, TN, Ronald G. Butler of Lawrenceburg, TN, Ricky J. Butler, wife Lynn of Waynesboro, TN., grandchildren, Cameron L. Butler, wife Luan and Mattea K. Butler, step grandchildren; Kelli Brewer, husband Chad and Kerra Gobbell, husband Doug, step great grandchilren, Alexander Kauffman, Reece H. Brewer and Eliot L. Gobbell, sister, Rebecca Dennis of Florence, AL.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Butler was preceded in death by granddaughter; Cassondra M. Butler, 1 brother and 6 sisters.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with John E. Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 15, 2019 6:00-8:00 pm and on Saturday, February 16, 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood.
