Roy Hunt
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 21, 1946, the son of the late John Carroll and Mary Kathleen Tacker Hunt.
On June 15, 1968, he was united in marriage to Linda Lorraine Beeson, who survives.
Mr. Hunt was the owner and operator of DR's Auto & Truck Clinic for 22 years. He had lived in Hardin County for 57 years and in Indiana for 7 years. He was a member of the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Tennessee F&AM #102 Masonic Lodge, AL Chymia Shrine in Memphis, Tennessee, Pickwick Shrine Club, Scottish Rite in Corinth, Mississippi, Savannah #371 Order of Eastern Star, and the Shiloh Area Street Rod, Inc. He enjoyed building street rods, working on cars and trucks, boating, carpentry, and fishing.
Mr. Hunt departed this life on Monday, July 11, 2011, at the age of 64 years, 7 months, 20 days.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Lori Kee (Tom) and Rhonda Hunt all of Adamsville, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, Britney Mullins (Johnny), Tiffany Clausel (Josh), Elizabeth and Jacob Kee; 3 great grandchildren, Justin, Madison and Cordel Mullins; a sister, Belinda Mamula (Lynn) of Adamsville, Tennessee; 3 brothers, James Carroll Hunt (Betty), Larry Francis Hunt (Vickie) and Jerry David Hunt (Sharon) all of Adamsville, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Ann Smith and a brother, John Earl Hunt.
