Roy R. P. Mardis

Roy R. P. Mardis was born August 27, 1942 in Mississippi the son of the late Lonnie Francis and Bertha Ethel Tarunice Mardis.He was Baptist in faith and worked as a timber cutter in his early years. Mr. Mardis departed this life on December 1, 2009 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 3 Months, 4 Days.He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Alenne Mardis and husband Christopher Hodge of Bolivar, TN and Charlcy Kirby and husband Franklin of Bolivar, TN; three sons, William Lee Mardis and wife Katina Robertson of Purdy, TN, David Matthew Mardis and wife Pam of Crump, TN and Jackie Davis of Middleton, TN; 9 grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild.In addition to his parents, Mr. Mardis was preceded in death by 10 siblings.
