JEAN CLEEK
Henderson, TN: Royce Jean Cleek, age 81, passed away February 1, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born December 25, 1942, in Chester County, the son of the late Alonzo D. and Lydia O. Hopper Cleek. He graduated from Chester County High School. He worked as a farmer and at International Paper/Duro Bag for over thirty years. He was a member of the Deanburg Baptist Church.
Mr. Cleek is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Patterson of Jackson; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a brother, Jerry Cleek (Freda Ann) of Middleton, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Brandie Pusser in 2023 and a sister, Gaynell Dees.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 6th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main with Bro. Ken Frye officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday.
