Ruby Joyce Caldwell was born on October 19, 1960 in Corinth, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Ottie T. and Ruby Lois Parson Smith.

On October 19, 1985, she was united in marriage to Jimmy Earl Caldwell, who preceded his wife in death on July 6, 2006.

Prior to moving to Adamsville Healthcare 4 years ago, Mrs. Caldwell was a lifelong resident of Counce, Tennessee. She was employed by Hamlin Plastics in Counce, Tennesee and was a member of Pickwick Church of Christ. Joyce loved her Cokes and enjoyed watching TV Land and The Game Show Network.

Ruby Joyce Caldwell departed this life on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 60 years, 1 month, and 5 days.

She is survived by her brothers, Rickey T. Smith and his wife Susan and Randy O. (Bud) Smith and his wife Debbie, all of Counce, Tennessee; niece, Jennifer Burks and her husband Brandon; nephews, Justin Smith and his wife Adie and Brandon Smith and his wife Heather; and great nieces and nephews, Bentley and Mary Susan Burks, Maggie Killingsworth, and Knox and Raegan Smith.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Darby, a very special nurse, who became a special friend to Joyce and her family.
