Ruby Linda Dixon

Mrs. Ruby Linda Staggs Dixon departed this life on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 20 Days. She was born November 13, 1947 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of the late Curtis and Gertie Martin Staggs. In addition to her parents, Mrs Dixon was preceded in death by sons, James Elvis Dixon, Jefferey Wayne Dixon, brother, Jimmy Dale Staggs.

She was united in marriage to James Willard Dixon on September 9, 1967.

Mrs. Ruby was a housewife and a member of the Revival Center Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.

She is survived by her husband James Willard Dixon, daughter, Joyce Sue Daniels, son, Terry Lynn Dixon, sister, Ruth Ellen Staggs all of Waynesboro, TN, grandchildren, James Caleb Ginsberg, Brandon Lee Ginsberg and Rachel Nicole Lee .

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Johnny Kilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Shields Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee
with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 5, 5:30--9:00 pm and on Tuesday, December 6, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
