Ruby Pearl Lynn

Ruby Pearl Simmons Lynn was born October 14, 1926 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Ruebin Jefferson and Pearl Bundie Griggs Simmons. She was united in marriage to James Thomas Lynn Sr. on June 2, 1944.Mrs. Lynn was a factory worker and homemaker and was of the Protestant faith. Mrs. Lynn departed this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 9 Months, 7 Days.She is survived by her husband, James Thomas Lynn Sr.; a daughter, Reba Hollis; two sons, Joel Thomas Lynn and James Thomas Lynn Jr. all of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Serena Pierce, Alana Baxter, Mendy Thrasher, Dustin, James Steven, and Dalanna Lynn; great-grandchildren, Carter Pierce, Blaise and Breslin Baxter, Kenzie Thrasher, and Adalyda Lynn.Services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Larry Janes officiating. Burial will be in the Copeland Cemetery at Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Friday, July 24, 2009 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
