Diane Maxwell was born on May 23, 1955 in Bolivar, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Aubra "Red" and Mamie Vernease Lowrance Majors.
On May 26, 1973, she was united in marriage to Richard "Dickie" Maxwell, who survives.
Mrs. Maxwell worked as a real estate paralegal for Denton & Cary Law Firm and for Procare in Bolivar, Tennessee. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Diane was a loving mama, doting mamaw, and devoted wife of 52 years.

Diane Maxwell departed this life on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 in Crump, Tennessee, at the age of 70 years and 4 months.
She is survived by her husband, Richard "Dickie" Maxwell of Crump, Tennessee; daughters, Kim Edgin of Savannah, Tennessee, Kasey Lax and her husband Ryan of Henderson, Tennessee, and Pamela Hunter and her husband Jason of Atoka, Tennessee; sisters, Maerene Webb and her husband Larry of Saulsbury, Tennessee and Patsy Stinson of Bolivar, Tennessee; brother, Wayne Majors and his wife Karla of Jacksonville, Florida; sister in law, Robin Majors of Whiteville, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Kolby Lax and Shelby Lax, both of Henderson, Tennessee and Carter Edgin of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her brother, Lynn Majors.
