RUBY SLAUGHTER
Henderson, TN: Ruby Beatrice Slaughter, age 82, died August 27, 2009 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born in Hardeman County, the daughter of the late Roy and Minnie Boyd Slaughter. She was married to Billy Slaughter. They made their home in the Deanburg Community of Chester County. She worked as a seamstress for several garment factories. She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church.
She is survived by three daughters; Jean Kiestler of Medon, Evelyn Riley of Henderson and Joyce Forsyth of Medon; four grandchildren, Randy Lipford, Laura Fesmire, Eddie Kiestler and Christy Seavers; 7 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren and a brother, Roy Slaughter, Jr. of Battle Creek, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Slaughter, a daughter, JoAnn Thompson, a son, Nathan Slaughter and a grand-daughter, Kim Caraway.
