Ruby Snyder Wyatt

Ruby Snyder Wyatt was born on June 21, 1934 to her parents, Willie and Emma Gray Snyder, in Morris Chapel, TN. Ruby went to her home with Jesus on Wednesday July 9, 2025, at the age of 91 years and 18 days.

Ruby leaves her brother Rex (Jean) Snyder of Decaturville, Tennessee. She also leaves four nephews, Chris Snyder (Michelle) of Scotts Hill, TN, Chad Snyder (Kim) of Darden, TN, Mike Snyder (Margaret) of Morris Chapel, TN, Tom Snyder (Pam) of Selmer, TN. One niece, Debbie McMinn (Freddie) of Huntsville, AL. Ruby also leaves 24 great nieces and nephews.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Wyatt and her brother and sister-in-law, O.T. and Geneva Snyder.

Ruby was a passionate musician, playing guitar and singing for more than 25 years at the local TV station, Unity Broadcasting. The J.R. & Ruby Gospel Hour performed each and every Sunday evening, a highlight of her life until their retirement in November of last year. Ruby was also a member of the Joy Sound Quartet many years ago. Ruby brought much joy to many with her own style of praise and worship, the old-fashioned way.

Ruby also loved horses. Most of all she loved her family and her Lord, Jesus Christ.

Ruby was a member of Hickory Flatt Methodist Church.
