Rudy Brian Morgan

Rudy Brian Morgan, 75, of Savannah, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in his home on March 25, 2026. Rudy was born in Savannah, TN, son of the late Cecil and Dorothy Morgan.

Rudy was united in marriage to Debra Cummings on November 22, 1974, who survives.

Rudy was a simple, quiet man who spent his life in the auto body trade, carrying on the work passed down from his father at Morgan’s Body Shop for many years. He took pride in what he did and in the life he built through years of steady, honest work.

In his younger years, Rudy lived life fast, but in time he found comfort in slowing down. He came to enjoy the simple things—sitting at home watching television, drinking a cold beer, and spending time with his family. Those moments, though ordinary, meant everything to him.

Rudy wasn’t a man of many words, but his presence was constant and steady. The people who loved him knew they could count on him, and that kind of quiet strength is something that will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; his daughters, Misty Long (Phillip) Rhonda Moore (Royce), and Renae Edmonds; his grandchildren, William Thompson, Jayrah Nunley (Adam), Leah Cooper, Bobby Occonner, Michael Shuttleworth; two great grandchildren; and his sister, Glenda Morgan.

Rudy was preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Dorothy Morgan; brothers, Ray Morgan and Ronnie Morgan; and sister, Janis Morgan.

Rudy will be remembered for the life he lived, the work he was proud of, and the simple, genuine way he loved those around him.
