Russell Gordon Kendall of Iron City, TN was born December 20, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Gordon and Lorraine Petrowsky Kendall. He was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Brown on September 3, 1960.Mr. Kendall was a retired supervisor with Ruiz Foods and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.Mr. Kendall departed this life on Monday, May 1, 2012 in Iron City, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 4 Months, 11 Days.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Brown Kendall of Iron City, TN; daughters, Reyne Cummings and husband, Eddie of Iron City, TN, Sally Smithson and husband, Gary of Iron City, TN, Lori Kortendick and husband, Paul of Sturtevant, WI, Lisa Kendall of Visalia, CA, Billie Jo Ball and husband, John of Grove City, OH; 20 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren Services will be Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will be in Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Eddie Cummings, Gary Smithson, Paul Kortendick, John Ball, Adam Daniels, and Joshua Berry.
