Ruth Camfield

Mrs. Ruth Camfield departed this life on Tuesday, February 15, 201 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 1 Day. She was born February 14, 1918 in Clifton, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Arthur and Nannie Powell Warren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Camfield was preceded in death by husband, Walter Camfield; sons, Ronnie and Tommy Camfield; a brother, Frank Warren; sisters, Gladys Ray and Kathleen Hardin.



Mrs. Camfield was a retired from Genesco and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



She is survived by her daughte- in-law, Sandra Camfield of Waynesboro, TN;

grandchildren, Jason Camfield, Christi Floyd, Kim Bunch, Michael Camfield and Melessia Evers; great-grandchildren, Cassidy Camfield, Chase Camfield, Cambree Camfield, Cayman Camfield, Camden Floyd, Landon Floyd, Henley Floyd, Gunnar Bunch, Ethan Camfield, Warren Camfield, and Pearce Evers.



Services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Larry Janes and Lea Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, TN directing. Pallbearers will be Jason Camfield, Michael Camfield, Rob Floyd, Kevin Bunch, Donnie Warren, and David Hardin.



Visitation will be Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Friday, February 18, 2011 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
