Ruth Harris departed this life on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at the age of 91 years, 10 months, and 3 days. She was born in Lee County, Mississippi, on January 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Marvin Lester and May Agnes Parker Harris.
Ruth retired from J. Strickland & Company, where she was employed for over 40 years.
She is survived by her sisters, Shirley Sanders of Saltillo, Mississippi and Patsy Cortez of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; and half sisters, Arvy Powell of New Albany, Mississippi, Linda Childers and Donna Rogers, both of Tupelo, Mississippi.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her half brother, Doyle Harris.
