Ruth Helen Moore

Ruth Helen Moore was born September 26, 1927 in Chester County Tennessee the daughter of the late Everette and Nora Thomas Roland. Mrs.Moore departed this life on March 15, 2009 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 5 Months, 17 Days.She was educated in Chester County School. She was married to Earl Moore in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1986. They made their home in Chester County thoughout their married life. Mrs. Moore helped her husband on the farm and in the sawmill. She was a member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Vandiver and husband Lee Wayne of Henderson, TN, Alice Knight and husband Cordell of Bolivar, TN; a son, George Moore and wife Manuela of North Carolina; two sisters, Zelda Dye and husband Wendell of Henderson, TN, Sue Moore and husband Udell of Illinois; five Granchildren and 7 great grandchildrenIn addition to her husband and parents, Mrs.Moore was preceded in death by a son, L.C. Moore; a brother, Casey Roland; and a grandchild, Terry Ryan. Services will be held on March 18, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Casey Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery at Chester County, Tennessee
