Ruth Edna Weaver

Ruth Edna Mitchell Weaver was born July 30, 1916 in Carroll County Tennessee the daughter of the late William Edgar Mitchell and Eva Ann Rumley Mitchell. She moved to Chester Co. in 1931 and married Mr. Willie Weaver on Dec. 16, 1933 where they made there home in Henderson. Mr. Weaver preceded her in death in 2006. She was a member of the Finger Church of Christ. She raised two of her brothers from there teenage years until they joined the military. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spoiling her grandchildren.



She is survived by two daughters, Martha Laws and husband Charles of Henderson, Nina Roberts and husband Wayne of Henderson; a son, James William Weaver and wife Laura of Trenton ; a sister, Nell Rankin of Henderson, ; seven grandchildren, Julie King (Charles), David Laws (Sandra), Michael Laws, Beth Hirsch (David), Mark Roberts (Katie), Rodney Weaver (Misty), Amy Jopson (Alan);8 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs.Weaver was preceded in death by three brothers, William Mitchell, James Mitchell, Raymond Mitchell; three sisters, Velma Brewer, Willie Brasher, Florence Harbison; a grt-grandchild, Rebecca King;



Services will be held on January 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Dr. Earl Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Chester County Memory Gardens at Henderson, Tennessee.
