Ruthie Mae Eaker was born on March 18, 1927, to the late Elbert and Frances Parrott Killingsworth. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company in Selmer, Tennessee with 40 years of service. She was a member of Meeks Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Ms. Eaker passed from this life on Sunday, February 1, 2009, at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer at the age of 81 years, 10 months, and 14 days.Survivors are three daughters, Peggy McLain and husband Kenneth of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Cathy Robinson and husband Bobby of Selmer, Danita Sims and husband Anthony of Stantonville; a sister, Retha Kiddy of Adamsville; five grandchildren, Angie McLain, Michael Robinson, Crystal Hill, Ashley Sims, Cassie Sims; four great-grandchildren, Chelsea Butler, Nicki Robinson, Tucker Hill, Dylan Hill.A host of other relatives and friends.Other than her parents, Ms. Eaker was also preceded in death by a sister Bertha Moffett and a brother who died as an infant.
