RUTHIE EARLEY
was born in Sunflower County, Mississippi on November 26, 1922 the daughter of the late Herman Lamar and Rosie Lee Smith Winters.
On February 1, 1941 she was united in marriage to Lorron Herbert Earley, Sr., who preceded his wife in death on December 27, 1997.
Mrs. Earley was a homemaker. She was a member of Pickwick Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Earley enjoyed crafts, art, gardening, playing guitar and sewing. She was always laughing and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Earley departed this life on January 22, 2010 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 27 days.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Shirley Hidalgo and her husband John of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Meisha V. Simmons and her husband Donald of Henderson, Tennessee, Gwin Earley and her husband Mike of Fort Worth, Texas and Carolyn Jean Waddell of Counce, Tennessee.
3 sons, Benjamin Lamar Earley, Sr. and his wife Margaret of Fort Worth, Texas, Lorron Herbert Earley, Jr. and his wife Patti of Azle, Texas and Jerry L. Earley and his wife Darlin of Counce, Tennessee.
14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren
2 brothers, Louie Winters of Savannah, Tennessee and Gayland Winters of Azle, Texas.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Marie Earley , 2 brothers, William and Clarence Winters and 3 grandchildren.
