Sadie Ruth Buchanan

was born April 23, 1938 in Middleton, Tennessee the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Velma Louise Whaley Kennamore.
She was united in marriage to George Lee Buchanan on December 28, 1956. Mr. Buchanan preceded her in death on September 20 ,2006.
Mrs. Buchanan was a member of Bethel Springs First Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and loved making clothes for her grandkids and family members.
Mrs. Buchanan departed this life on April 4, 2011 in Cordova, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 11 Months, 12 Days. She is survived by three daughters, Beverley Ann (Buchanan) Collins and husband Buddy of Henderson, TN, Patricia Lynn (Buchanan) Oliver and husband Chuck of Oakland, TN, Catherine Louise (Buchanan) Myers and husband John of Inverness, FL; a son, Ernest Wilson Buchanan and wife Angela of Lawrenceburg, TN; 10 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, five sisters, Carolyn (Kennamore) Scesa of Nashville, TN, Billie Frances (Kennamore) Woods of St. Louis, MO, Bonna (Kennamore) Lockley of Olive Branch, MS, Donna (Kennamore) Phillips of Memphis, TN, and Linda (Kennamore) Bourassa of Memphis, TN; two brothers, Tom Kennamore of Selmer, TN, and David Kennamore of Moscow, TN.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Buchanan was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Wilson Kennamore.
