Sammie R. Scott of Bethel Springs, TN was born February 20, 1943 in Hardin County, TN the son of the late Henry and Lola Goff Scott. He retired from the former Aqua Glass Corporation in Adamsville as a Laser Operator. He was united in marriage to Helen Inetha Henry on September 25, 1971.
Mr. Scott departed this life on October 9, 2017 in Jackson, TN at the age of 74 Years, 7 Months, 19 Days. He served in the National Guard from January 1964 until January 1970. In addition to his parents, Mr. Scott was preceded in death by a son, Mickey Wayne Scott, and a brother, William Scott.
He is survived by his wife Helen Inetha Henry Scott of Bethel Springs, TN; two sisters, Rebecca Jones of Walnut, MS, Brenda Bennett of Hollow Rock, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The service is private.
