Samuel Curtis Inman

March 21, 1923 — November 17, 2013

Samuel Curtis Inman of Waynesboro, TN was born March 21, 1923 in Perry Co., TN, the son of the late Duke N. and Stella Holder Inman. He was united in marriage to Hazel Roberta Warren on January 24, 1944 and she preceded him in death on September 16, 1989.

Mr. Inman was a retired machine operator at Lincoln Brass Works, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was a United States Army veteran of WW II.

Mr. Inman departed this life on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Wayne Medical Center, Waynesboro, TN at the age of 90 years, 7 months, and 27 days.

He is survived by sons, Kenneth W. Inman and Ronald L. Inman and wife, Jean all of Waynesboro, TN Donald K. Inman and wife, Judy of Collinwood, TN, Dennis Inman and wife, Patra of Savannah, TN; a daughter, Diane Inman and husband, Roger of Chattanooga, TN; Grandchildren, Ricky Inman and wife, Shelli, Kristy Prince and husband, Larry, Shay Inman and wife, Natalie, Shane Inman, Bridget Baugus and husband, Shannon, Jared Inman and wife, Tiffany, John Inman, Shauna Rose and husband, Jeff, Tiffany Inman, Emily Holt and husband, Shannon, and Eric Inman, Great-Grandchildren, Zach, Haily, Kaylee, Lillie, Campbell, and Kaleb Inman, Brittney Wallace, Chandler, Paxton, and Myles Prince, Hunter, Skyler, and Clay Baugus, Padyn and Pazley Rose, and Gage, Blair, Timothy, and Emma Holt; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Inman was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kay Pope Inman; a brother, John W. Inman; and sisters, Carrie Davis and Betty Stutts.

Services will be Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Don Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Ricky Inman, John Inman, Shane Inman, Paxton Prince, Chandler Prince, and Hunter Baugus with great-grandsons serving as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be Monday, November 18, 2013 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
