SANDRA (SANDY) DODD BRANNAN
was born on August 9, 1948, in Massillon, Ohio, to the late William and Helen Bartko Taylor.
On October 24, 2003, she was united in marriage to Thomas Brannan, who survives.
Mrs. Dodd, a veteran, served her country in the United States Air Force. She lived in Nevada, Texas for eleven years and Athens, Alabama for ten months. She enjoyed collecting dolls, photography, cross-stitching and crocheting; and she love to read the works of Tolkien.
Mrs. Dodd departed this life at the Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama on June 12, 2013, at the age of 64 years, 10 months, and 3 days.
In addition to her husband, Thomas Brannan of Athens, Alabama, she is survived by her sons, Thomas Dodd of Frankville, Alabama and Jason Dodd of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Alex, Cass, Harley, Kayla, and Savannah; brothers, Robert Taylor of Greenville, Ohio, David Taylor of Canal Fulton, Ohio and Jim Taylor of North Carolina; one sister, Mary Wingate of Canton, Ohio; step children, Betty Young, Savina Dodd, and Donna Dodd-Harrell; 7 step grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty.
