Sandra Elizabeth Flint

Sandra Elizabeth Lopez Flint was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 8, 1959. She transcended her earthly body surrounded by generations of loved ones on June 1, 2023, in her chosen sister’s home. She will forever be deeply revered by her sisters, brothers, family, friends, and her two daughters. Sandra’s life cannot be measured by a societal lens, as she was humble in her possessions but infinitely generous in her compassion, time, and joy. Throughout her life she deeply touched those around her by extending her heart as a caretaker for many going through challenging times. Despite undertaking many obstacles in her lifetime, her infectious smile and brilliant character never left her. Never afraid to begin again, Sandra graduated from Phlebotomy school in 2017 and served her community at Magnolia Regional Health. She preceded in death to her husband, William Wallace Flint III, whom she joined lives with on October 29, 2016.Her greatest joy was becoming a ‘Gamma’ and witnessing the lives of her daughters (including the recent wedding of her eldest). She is preceded in death by her son, Dallas Timothy Lambert; sister, Judith Lopez; niece, Christina Lopez; and father, Adolfo Lopez Sr. Sandra was an avid follower of Christ and loved her church family of Saint Jude Catholic Church in Selmer, Tennessee. There is a space in the lives of her family that can never be replicated. Sandra has left behind the following: her two daughters and their families, Samantha Kent and Jordan Kent with baby Kent expected in September 2023, Keisha Zulfer and Kyle Zulfer with granddaughter, Siena Jude Lopez Zulfer; siblings: Eugene Lopez, Evelyn Gutierrez, Geraldine B’dour, Rosemary Loth, Aquilina Carranza, Adolfo Lopez Jr, Yousif Korkis, and mother, Geraldine Korkis, and Benjamin Korkis, as well as many other deeply loved brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, nephews, and nieces.
