Sandy Jean Ray

Sandy Jean Ray, 48 of Waynesboro was born May 4, 1968 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of Billy Gene Ray of Clifton, TN and Jane Evelyn Davis Hinson and husband Ronald of Hohenwald, TN. Sandy died Monday, December 26, 2016. Sandy attended Columbia State Community College and was a LPN Nurse.

Other than her parents she is survived by a son, Bradley Wade Hinton and wife Kaitlin of Waynesboro, TN, a daughter, Holly Hinton Morris and husband Kevin of Savannah, TN, two grandchildren, Kamden Mack Morris and Klayton Heath Morris, three brothers, Billy Ray Jr. and Brandon Ray both of Waynesboro, TN, William Ray of Clifton, TN, three sisters, Christy McLeod and husband Jason of Hohenwald, TN, Brandy McLain and husband Blake and Jerica Steele both of Westpoint, TN, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Prater's Chapel Cemetery near Clifton with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-9:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers are D.J. Quintana, Billy Ray, Jr., Brandon Ray, Collin Gregg, Dustin Ray, Derek Ray, and Scotty Ray. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Sandy Jean Ray Memorial Account at the Wayne County Bank.
