Sarah Frances Hively

Sarah Frances Hively age 93 of Selmer, TN, was born March 13, 1923 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Duke and Minnie Nichols Ferguson. She grew up in the Sulphur Springs Community. She worked for 32 years as a waitress in restaurants all around Selmer. Later Mrs Hively was a care giver and sitter for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee.

Mrs Hively departed this life on November 1, 2016 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 7 Months, 19 Days.

She is survived by five grandchildren: Clark Hively and wife Rhonda, Suzie Hively Glover and husband Jack, Jason Hively and wife Anita all of Selmer, TN, Ben Whitten and Sarah Whitten Nowell and husband David all of Memphis, TN;a daughter-in-law, Barbara Hively Goodrum of Selmer, TN; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Hively was preceded in death by a son, William Paul Hively; a daughter, Elizabeth Hively Whitten; a grandchild, Steven Whitten; and two son-in-law, Johnny Whitten and Larry Goodrum. .
