Sarah Lucille Lipford

Sarah Lucille Lipford was born January 14, 1917 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late James and Jessie Horton Moore.She was united in marriage to Carl Lipford on December 3, 1932. Mr. Lipford preceded her in death on February 23, 1996.Mrs. Lipford was a Factory Worker and Homemaker . She was a member of the Solitude Free Will Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee.She departed this life on June 25, 2009 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 5 Months, 11 Days.Mrs. Lipford is survived by four daughters, Betty Hester of Bethel Springs, TN, Mary Sisk of Bethel Springs, TN, Jimmie Gray of Adamsville, TN, Fran Coley of Bartlett, TN; four sons, Allen Lipford of Adamsville, TN, Sammy Lipford of Nashville, TN, Danny Lipford of Lawton, TN, Gary Lipford of Selmer, TN; a sister, Wilma Hart of Henderson, TN; a brother, Harvey (Ebb) Moore of Colorado; 16 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lipford was preceded in death by two sons, Roy (Bub) Lipford and Billy Stinson Lipford; three sisters, Irene Murrphy, Ruth Mathis and Georgia Dennis; two brothers, Jake Moore and Albie Moore.
