Scottie Easley

SCOTTIE EASLEY



was born in Savannah, Tennessee, on November 28, 1936, to Edwin Louie and Eunice Kate Scott Easley, who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Joyce Ann Williams on June 7, 1986.



Mr. Easley served his country in the United States National Guard. He retired as a Towboat Captain for Crounse Corporation of Paducah, Kentucky. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church of Savannah, Tennessee. He loved gardening, deer hunting and the Tennessee Volunteers.



Mr. Easley departed this life on April 10, 2013, at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 13 days.



He is survived by his wife, Joyce Easley of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Sheila Cox and her husband, Butch of Savannah, Tennessee, son, Sammy Easley and his wife, Barbara (Sissy) of Savannah, Tennessee and daughter, Scottina Pickens and her husband, Kenny of Adamsville, Tennessee, son-in-law, Roger Burns of Rienzi, Mississippi, stepdaughter, Kristi Irizarry and her husband, Will of Chesapeake, Virginia and stepdaughter, Kelli Mealer and her husband, Chris of Memphis, Tennessee; a sister, Barbara Brown and two brothers, Thomas Doyle Easley and Leon Easley and his wife, Mackie, all of Savannah, Tennessee; fourteen grandchildren, Mandy King, Selina Seabrooks, Brad Burns, Bubba Garner, Will Burns, Blake Easley, Brianna Easley, Brett Dicus, Maegan Young, Logan Young, Emma Russo, Ethan Russo, Erin Irizarry, Jamison Mealer and nine great-grandchildren.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepmother, Hester Easley; daughter, Sandra Burns; three sisters, Ruth Cook, Edwyna Lewis and Nita Ferrell and three brothers, Louie Easley, Ronnie Easley and Billy Easley.
