Mrs. Maness passed away Saturday morning at her home in Memphis.
She was a native and life long resident of Memphis, born the daughter of James Moore and Martha E. Mitchell. She was a 1982 graduate of White Station High School and received her degree as a Registered Nurse from Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. During her schooling, she was selected for Who's Who. She had most recently worked at Kirby Pines Nursing Home. An avid reader, she was a member of Mullins Methodist Church in Memphis and the Daughters Of The American Revolution.
In addition to her parents, she leaves her husband, Jeff Maness of Memphis; four daughters, Theresa Kennedy of Memphis, Rachel Maness of Toone, Anita and Leigh Ann Maness, both of Memphis; one son, Russell Maness of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Sandra Schrimsher and Jane Hubbard, both of Bolivar; and three grandchildren, Grace Haynes; Colton and Landon Kennedy.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Paul and Bernice Mitchell and Gus and Gwen Eaker.
