Sharon McCain Ness

Sharon McCain Ness was born on August 2, 1951, the daughter of the late Jessie McCain and Bessie Brown Welker.

On June 8, 1974, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Larry A. Ness. Larry preceded his wife in death on July 20, 2016. Sharon was fully devoted to him until her death.

Sharon was deeply devoted to her family. She adored her son, Terry, and her sweet dog, "Buttercup", or as her youngest grandson called her, "Butter Butter". Her greatest joys also included her grandsons, Conner and Olen Rae Ness, whom she loved beyond measure. Sharon enjoyed riding her golf cart and working in her yard. She attended Center Hill Baptist Church in Counce, Tennessee.

She is survived by her son, Terry Ness and his wife Allison of Ramer, Tennessee; Keith Black, whom she thought of and loved as a son, of Adamsville, Tennnessee; grandchildren; Conner Ness and Olen Rae Ness; brother, Coolidge (Pete) McCain and his wife Lois of Florence, Alabama; and sisters, Juywonia Kennedy of Pensacola, Florida and Regenia Robertson and her husband Perry of Woodlawn, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Mable (Candy) McCain.
