SHARON PEARSON

 Jacks Creek, TN: Sharon Ann Pearson, age 72, passed away February 22, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born June 13, 1951, in Sacramento, CA, the daughter of the late Perry Leland and Delora Ann Warren Edwards. She grew up in Atwater and was a 1969 graduate of Atwater High School. She briefly attended Bible College before getting married to Gary Gene Pearson in 1973. They continued to make their home in Atwater until his passing on April 27, 2023.

 She moved to Jacks Creek, TN in December 2023 and lived with her sister Donna.

She worked as an activities director for Cypress Assisted Living in Turlock, CA for over ten years.       

She was a member of the First Church of God in Atwater and was very active as a Bible Class Teacher and in the Women’s Group.              

She dearly loved her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling, sewing and doing crafts.

Mrs. Pearson is survived by a son, Eric Andrew Pearson of Atwater, CA, a daughter, Jennifer Pearson Bonnett (George) of Citrus Heights, CA, three grandchildren, Samuel Austin Bonnett, Kennedy Ann Bonnett and Liam Pearson; two brothers, Kenneth James Edwards (Merle) of OR and Carey Bert Edwards of Merced, CA and three sisters, Donna Cressey of Jacks Creek, TN, Carolyn Lee Young (Richard) of Murfreesboro, TN and Gloria Jean Hadley of Roseville, CA, and many aunts and cousins.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gary Gene Pearson (4-27-2023) and a sister, Patricia Ann Kirscheman.

Memorial services will be Friday, 12:30 PM, on March 8th at The Hope Church in Atwater, CA.
