Sheila Walton Ferguson, age 48, of Middleton, died Wednesday at Bolivar General Hospital.
A native of Gary, Indiana, she was a homemaker. She was born October 10, 1967, to Dora Mae McAnally Berry of Middleton and Thomas Walton of Bolivar and lived all of her life in Hardeman County. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer and enjoyed taking care of her home and family.
Survivors include her daughters, Allysen (Dan) Blankenship of Middleton and Elizabeth Kelli Marie of Selmer; a son, Michael Mayfield, Jr. of Bolivar; a sister, Sandy Kirk of Bolivar; a brother, Nathan Moore (Stephanie) of Bolivar; a stepbrother, Greg Berry of Selmer; her ex-husband, Sparky Sparks of Middleton; her mother and stepfather, Dora Mae and James Berry of Middleton; her father, Thomas Walton of Bolivar; and her grandchildren, Clay, Clark and Annabella Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Beaver" Ferguson and her grandmother, Dorothy Smith.
The family requests memorial donations in her name be made to the Jack Gean Shelter for Women, 64 Jack Gean Drive, Savannah, Tennessee 38372.
