Shelby Ann Cotner

Shelby Ann Cotner was born on March 10, 1941 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late George and Lynard McCain.

On November 3, 1963, she was united in marriage to Jerry Cotner, who preceded his wife in death on June 26, 2007.

Mrs. Cotner worked as a seamstress for Garan Manufacturing and as a driver for Southwest Human Resource Agency. She was a member Counce Church of Christ.

Shelby Ann Cotner departed this life on July 3, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 84 years, 3 months, and 23 days.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Cotner; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Shelby was preceded in death by her sisters, Leller Mae Dixon and Minnie Rae Dixon and brother, George Oneil McCain.
