Sheron Ann Townsend

Sheron Ann Townsend of Selmer, TN was born April 26, 1943 in Dickson, TN the daughter of the late Benjamin Albert Weinberg and Doye Geneva Crowder Weinberg. She was a Home Economics Teacher with the McNairy County School System having retired after 35 years of teaching.

Sheron was a member of the First Christian Church in Selmer. She loved being with her family and friends. She was very much a people person and enjoyed socializing and eating at Pat's Cafe. If family couldn't find her, the first place they checked was Pat's. Sheron was a member of the retired Teacher's Association, the Steven Foster Music Club, and the Needles and Pins Quilting group. She often spent her spare time reading or sewing. Sheron departed this life on October 20, 2018 in Corinth, MS at the age of 75 Years, 5 Months, 24 Days.

She is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Johnson and husband Keith of Selmer, TN, Shasta Hollins and husband Steve of Baldwyn, MS; seven grandchildren, Payton Magill, Tyler Johnson, Tyler Hollins, Jayln Hollins, Will Johnson, Abigail Magill, Noelle Johnson. She also leaves a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sheron was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Weinberg and Larry Weinberg.
