Sherri King Duncan

Sherri Renee King Duncan of Henderson, TN departed this life on June 11, 2016 in Selmer, TN at the age of 51 Years, 10 Months, 16 Days. She was born July 26, 1964 in Selmer the daughter of Larry D. and Shirley K. Ferguson King. She was engaged to be married to Michael Johnson who departed this life simultaneously with her.

Sherri was a Medical Receptionist at Frix-Jennings Clinic in Henderson, TN. She was a 1982 graduate of McNairy Central High School and attended Jackson State Community College for two and a half years. During her lifetime, Sherri had worked at Pat's Flowers, The Honey Tree, and V & S Variety in Selmer and at the former Care South Med North and First National Bank in Jackson, TN. She was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church in Jackson. She attended Sulphur Springs Methodist Church in Selmer and The Church of the Crossroads in Corinth, MS. Sherri enjoyed walking, the outdoors, going to the beach, traveling, and watching movies. She loved her 2 precious children and her granddaughter. She made sure they always had what they needed.

She is survived by a daughter, Alise Duncan McDaniel and husband Zach of Jackson, TN; a son, Peyton Dewayne Duncan; a grandchild, Ahylvia McDaniel and her granddaughter on the way, Haivyn; her parents, Larry D. and Shirley K. King of Selmer; her grandfather, Eldridge King of Selmer and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Roberta and Ancil Ferguson, Lonell King, and a special aunt, Patsy King.
