Shirley Ann Allen, age 65 of Middleton, Tennessee departed this life Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at her home.
A native of Walnut, Mississippi, she was born July 10, 1948 to the late Claude Ogusta and Jenny Mae Wilson Wilbanks. She moved to Hardeman County in 1967 and worked as a restaurant owner. She was a member of the Oakland Baptist Church.
Survivors include her long-time companion, Mr. Neal Wade of Middleton; two daughters, Stephanie Ann Sisco and Rebecca Lorene Winters, both of Middleton; three sons, Freddie Dewayne Allen, Joseph Bradley Allen and Benjamin Paul Allen, all of Middleton; two sisters, Lois Fields of Middleton, and Clara Alsup of Walnut, Mississippi; three brothers, Rickey Wilbanks of Pontotoc, Mississippi, Waymon Wilbanks of Cullman, Alabama, and Billy Wayne Wilbanks of Cullman, Alabama; eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sister, Mae Wilbanks, Claudia Wilbanks, Mildred Foster, Ruth Taylor, Robert Wilbanks, Thadus Wilbanks, W. B. Wilbanks, Claude Wilbanks, Jr., and Thomas Franklin Wilbanks; and one grandchild, Donald Hemker.
