Shirley Faye Hurst

Shirley Faye Hurst of Bethel Springs, TN, departed this life on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer at the age of 66 years, 10 months, and 29 days. She was born on December 20, 1942, daughter of the late Elliott and Jessie Nichols McNeil. She was united in marriage to Howard Lee Hurst who preceded her in death on February 19, 1996. Mrs. Hurst was a member of Central Baptist Church at Bethel Springs and was a former employee of Aqua Glass Corporation in Adamsville.Survivors are two daughters, Pamela Hester of Bethel Springs, Shelia Hosea and husband Juan of Savannah, Tennessee; two sons, Dewayne Hurst and wife Devona and Steven (Poley) Hurst and wife Shelia, both of Bethel Springs; a brother, Wilburn McNeil, of Selmer.9 Grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and a host of other relatives and friends.Other than her husband and parents, Mrs. Hurst was also preceded in death by a son, Vernon Hurst, and all of her siblings except Wilburn.
