Shirley Hopper Linville

Shirley Hopper Linville was born December 4, 1936 in Jacks Creek, Tennessee the daughter of Millie Izeal Bailey and the late R.D. Johnson. She attended school in Chester Co. and was married to William Hopper in 1949. They made their home near Jacks Crekk. Mr. Hopper died on Dec. 13, 1993. She later married Mr. Bill Linville on April 19, 1997, who survives. She had worked for Salant and Salant until the plant closed. She was a member of the Mission of Christ Church and she enjoyed sewing and flea markets.Mrs.Linville departed this life on October 2, 2009 in Reagan, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 9 Months, 28 Days.She is survived by her husband Bill Linville of Reagan, TN; a daughter, Christy Lynn Henley of Jacks Creek; four sons, Ricky Lynn Hopper of Jacks Creek, Mickey Glenn Hopper of Jacks Creek, Kerry D. Hopper of Henderson, Jason Linville of Jacks Creek; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.Services will be held on October 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Rev. Clifford Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacks Creek Apostolic Church Cemetery at Jacks Creek.
