Shirley K. Raines

Shirley K. Wilkerson Raineswas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 28, 1940 the daughter of the late Con and Edna Tidwell Wilkerson.On August 20, 1960 she was united in marriage to Roscoe Raines, Jr., who survives.Mrs. Raines was a homemaker and had previously worked for various dry cleaners. She had also worked from home doing alterations. Mrs. Raines loved singing, collecting angels, and woodwork finishing. She was of Baptist belief.Mrs. Raines departed this life on Sunday, August 16, 2010 at the age of 70 years, 3 months, 19 days.In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Terry Dale Raines of Olive Branch, Mississippi; a daughter, Rhonda Kaye Raines of Milan, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Connie Cole of Savannah, Tennessee, Artie Gaia of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Wanda Hicks of Stantonville, Tennessee; 4 brothers, James, John C., Gary Wayne, and Danny Joe Wilkerson all of Savannah, Tennessee.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, R.C. Wilkerson and 2 infant sisters.
