Shirley Stricklin

Shirley Reathiford Stricklin was born on October 14, 1936 in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of the late Tom Hassell and Clare Heard Reathiford.

On February 15, 1973, she was united in marriage to L.C. Stricklin, who preceded her in death on December 30, 1996.

Shirley was a supervisor for Savannah Manufacturing. She was a member of White's Creek Freewill Baptist Church, where she was lovingly known as "Ma" by the kids and "grandma Shirley". Shirley loved shopping, especially for Black Friday, going camping and fishing, gardening flowers, her cat "Lucy", and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her daughter, Pam White and husband Ronnie; "second" daughter, Kay White; stepson Richie; and stepdaughters, Betty, Barbara, Sue, and Janie.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Reathiford.
