Shirlon Marie Hardin, age 75, passed peacefully from this life on June 18, 2026, at Olive Grove Terrace in Olive Branch, Mississippi, surrounded by family she loved so deeply and who loved her in return. Her final moments were filled with peace, comfort, and the presence of those closest to her.
Shirlon was born on January 19, 1951, in Adamsville, Tennessee, to Welbert Weeks and Fay Finley Weeks. She carried with her throughout her life the strength, determination, and devotion that would come to define her character.
On April 20, 1973, Shirlon married the love of her life, Wayne Ray Hardin. Together they built a family that became the center of her world. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love knew no bounds.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Ray Hardin; her children, Tarina Farris Bellm, Brandon Wayne Hardin, and Cynthia Hardin Mullins; her sister, Linda Loe; her brother, Stephen Weeks; her grandchildren, Lauren Henry, Graham Hardin, Brennan Bellm, Collin Hardin, and Brooklyn Bellm; and her great-grandchildren, Faith Mills, Grace Henry, Noah Henry, and Bowden Bellm.
Those who knew Shirlon knew that her greatest gift was her fierce love for her family. She was protective of the people she loved. Her strength provided comfort, her loyalty provided security, and her love provided a foundation upon which generations of family have been blessed to build their lives.
Family gatherings were made special by her presence, and those fortunate enough to sit at her table will always remember her wonderful lasagna and the love that accompanied every meal she shared.
While her family mourns the loss of her physical presence, they take comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind—memories filled with laughter, devotion, strength, and love. Her legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.
The family finds peace in knowing that Shirlon's final moments were spent surrounded by love. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
