Sibyl V. Matlock

Sibyl V. Rowsey Matlock was born September 29, 1931 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Horace and Lovelle Phelps Rowsey.She was united in marriage to R.C. Matlock in August of 1978. Mr. Matlock preceded her in death on March 10, 1994.Mrs. Matlock was a housewife . She was of the Baptist faith.Mrs. Matlock departed this life on May 20, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 7 Months, 21 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Main and husband William of Selmer, TN, Rita Dickey and husband Jerry of Ramer, TN; a sister, Betty Woods and companion W.B. of Corinth, MS; a brother, Garry Rowsey and wife Ruth of Counce, TN; three grandchildren, Cecil Dickey and companion Melanie, Curtis McCrary, LaDana Ruth and husband Mike; four great grandchildren, Lora Brown, Matthew Jackson, River Kyle, and Elizabeth McCrary; four great great grandchildren, Raeleigh, Rudy, and Raegan Brown, and Kaetlyn Jackson; host of extended family and friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Matlock was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Ayers.
