Sol Glen Barnes

Sol Glen Barnes was born June 18, 1939 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late James Ed and Medie Caroline Moore Barnes. He was a Farmer and Logger .Mr. Barnes departed this life on January 4, 2011 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 6 Months, 17 Days.He is survived by two daughters, Angela Purviance and husband Daniel of Finger, TN, Diane Loretto Barnes of Pocahontas, TN; two sons, Thomas Glen Barnes of Selmer, TN, Terry Sol Barnes of Pocahontas, TN; five grandchildren, Falecia Barnes, Colton Purviance, James Rickman, Angela Rickman, Sky Howard; a brother, Sam Barnes of Jackson, TN; ex-wife, Janice McDaniel now married to Mike McDaniel of Pocahontas, Tennessee. A host of extended family and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by a grandchild, Daniel Purviance, Jr.; three sisters, Janie Spencer, Minnie Mae Arnold, Mary Sue Smith; a brother, Edward Barnes.
