Solon Curtis Billings

Solon went to his eternal home at 5:00 am on August 31,2024. He was born June 29,1956 to Verble Billings and Francis Marie Cannon Billings and was raised in the Western Valley community in Tipton County, TN. Solon was affectionately known by several nicknames including Bubba, Paw B, and Sowie.

Solon was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roger Billings and Mitchell Billings; a granddaughter, Kayla Danielle Kindrix; a nephew, Matt Delashmit; and, a brother-in-law, George Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Linda Taylor Billings; his three sons, Brandon Billings (Michelle), Chris Smiley Parker (Kim), Jordan Blizzard (Lakshmi); and one daughter, Dana Marie Kindrix; two brothers, Richard Billings, Barry Billings; and a sister, Sandra Erwin. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Kaylee Parker, Kaitlyn Kindrix, Kelsey Kindrix, Autumn Nowlin and Mathew Nowlin; 3 great-grandchildren, Abel, Kayla and Michael; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by 8 honorary granddaughters, Lindsey Burch, Ginger Dorris, Becky Gouge, Hannah Thompson, April Sprayberry, Katie Berta, Tara Sides and Carey Ann Taylor.

A special "Thank-You" to all the employees at Tractor Supply, Bolivar, TN. Solon loved each and every one of y’all and working there gave him much happiness.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
