For nearly 30 years, Stacy dedicated himself to his work at Pickwick Electric, where he became a well-respected member of the community. His colleagues remember him not just for his skills, but for his kindness and infectious smile.
Stacy had a passion for adventure, enjoying activities such as traveling, fishing, and playing softball. He found joy in gathering with friends to play cornhole, always eager to share a laugh and make those around him feel uplifted. His humor and genuine warmth had a way of brightening even the dullest days.
Faith played a significant role in Stacy's life, as he actively attended Adamsville Free Will Baptist Church. His love for God was evident in his actions and the way he treated others, reflecting a spirituality deeply rooted in compassion and love. He wasn't afraid to tell others about Jesus.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Dancer of Adamsville, TN; mother, Dottie Catherine Plunk Hubanks of Adamsville, TN; father, James Larry Dancer and wife Brenda of Kossuth, MS; mother-in-law, Ava Nixon of Adamsville, TN; stepbrother, Gary Hodum and wife Tammy of Corinth, MS; stepsister, Staphen Rogers and husband Jerry of Corinth, MS; brother-in-law, Keith Nixon and wife Mandy of Morris Chapel, TN; nieces and nephews: Kerby Nixon, Anna Grace Morris, Lauren Lott, Hailey Hodum, Casey Loyd, Trey Rogers, Justin Rogers; great nieces and nephews: Cooper Nixon, Bo Riley Burcham, Anslee Nixon, Violette Morris, Vivienne Morris, Hattie Lott, Kaitlee-Neal Loyd, Ledger Loyd, Anna Rogers, Jackson, Rogers.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Gib and Rosie Plunk; paternal grandparents, Ootise and Maudea Dancer; stepfather, Vernon Hubanks and father-in-law, Virgil Nixon.
