Stephanie Wilson

Stephanie Wilson, 48, of Toone, passed from this life Sat., November 11, 2023.

She was born Monday, August 4, 1975, in McNairy County, daughter of the late Steve English and Carol Sue Chandler Shields, and lived all of her life in Hardeman County.  She married George Wilson, III on January 14, 1995.  She worked as a stocker for Wal-Mart for about two and a half years and prior to that was a correctional officer in Hardeman County and McNairy County.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crafts and playing with her granddaughter.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Wilson (Kylie) of Medon; a sister, Angelene Thane (Klaus) of Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Atlas Shields of Toone and Andrew Shields of Henderson; and her granddaughter, Elena Bryant.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her step-father, Gary Dale Shields.  Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org/donate).
