Mr. Stephen Lynn Young of Bolivar passed away Sunday night, July 15, 2012 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital at the age of 60 years, three months and 2 days.
Mr. Young was born in Bolivar April 13, 1952 to the late R. B. and Eddie Pen Hillhouse Young and lived all of his life there. He was united in marriage to Cynthia Stewart, who survives, September 25, 1986 and worked for over 30 years for the City of Bolivar. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Among his hobbies, he especially found enjoyment riding horses. His family was his life; he brought joy to them and others and loved making them laugh. He was the best husband, father and son.
In addition to his wife, he leaves as his survivors a daughter, Melissa Lax and husband Benjamin of Bolivar; four sons, John Kirk and wife Rachel of Fountain, Colorado, Andy Young and wife Kelly of Middleton, Zachery Young and Casey Young; three sisters, Linda Young of Bolivar, Suzanne Milligan of Memphis, and Karen Wright of Martin; a brother, Terry Young of Martin; and five grandchildren, Alora Lax, Katie Lax, Gabriel Zaine Johnson, Haley Wells and one on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Rebecca Cossar of Hickory Valley; two brothers, James Allen Young and Mike Young, both of Bolivar; and a grandson, Baby Boy Young.
